Round 5 – Rockingham Oval F1 – 23Feb13 Round 5 of the DHORC 2013 season marked the start of our busiest period of the year with four races in two days. The 8-Lane 124 foot Rockingham Oval again provided some excellent racing with 35 competitors taking to the track for the F1 race. Qualifying consisted of 5 laps on Lane 5 with the total time taken giving you your grid position. The Finals are three minutes of Crash and Burn with the Turn 4 squeeze track catching out the unwary! Lee Pateman took home his third straight 2013 win in the Adults while Peter Martin won his very first Junior race and so making the front cover of the magazine. Tony Stacey not only won the Adult Non Member race, he also set overall Pole position beating all of the Members! Matt Bradley took top honours in the Cadets, the first Cadet to beat Luke Brooks!
