Round 1 – Reims – 8Jan13 The first race of DHORC’s 22nd season kicked off with 28 racers, 24 of which were members. Ten of these were Juniors, the first time the number of Junior Members racing on one night has reached double figures since 1998! Josh Lister drove a superb Junior ‘A’ Final from third on the grid to take the Junior victory with two track records while Luke Brooks became our inaugural Cadet (for Juniors that are 10 in year and younger) winner. Reigning HO Masters (Over 60’s) Champion Geoff Peach won the first Master Final of the year while I lucked in to take the first Adult win also with a couple of track records. We had five new Members join DHORC on Tuesday, three of which were Juniors namely Isabel Bradley, Matt Bradley and Jack Gratton who can be seen on the front cover of the magazine below. Our other two were Kate Alcock and Jamie Lymer below.
